December 1st, 2017
To truly get into the holiday spirit, you must trim the tree, bake a few batches of holiday cookies, and, if you're into crafting, construct a gingerbread house. Knock one of the three off the list at the Gingerbread House Making event on Sunday, December 3rd, hosted by the Boston Young Professionals Association on Newbury Street.
From 2 to 4 p.m., the crackling fireplace, hot chocolate and cider, and sweet and savory appetizers will beckon to Boston residents. Escape the cold and cozy up near the fire with everything you need to make a traditional gingerbread house, a cottage, or a mini village. After you put the final flourishes on your creation, pack it up to take home—along with a few pieces of extra candy to enjoy. Tickets to the Gingerbread House Making session are $30 and include all building materials, bites, and drinks.
